Do a progression of this? Please? I don't have 3dsmax but want to make things like this in PS. Without using the 3d tool.

humm ... doing that with PS only ... I don't know ?
Maybe it is possible with vector shapes + gradient tool + many layers to give depth and perspective .... To be honest I didn't try this with PS only :P

Thanks :thanks:

Yeah, I know. I read your description. I'm just wondering because I don't have PS with 3D and I can't get my hands on 3DSMax. Honestly, I don't know if I wanna start learning it.
I'm professional with Photoshop. I've been using it for years. I just thought I'd ask to see if I'm missing something.

What would you say the learning curve is for 3DSMax given I've spent years on Photoshop and feel super comfortable with it?

Well ... I have learned 3ds max and photoshop by myself through years :)
Also, I'm learning C4D by myself too since a moment.
the only advice I can give you about that is to be curious of those 3d softwares (if you want to learn them) and do some research on the web about tuts etc ... There are 1000 articles / blogs and web sites about " HOW TO " :)

Alright. Well sounds like what I'd usually do, so I guess I might as well try. :) Good luck. Nice work!
